When Your Requests Play
Listener requests play once every hour on Channel R, except while another show is on air: daily 5–9pm PT, and 11:30pm–12am PT on Saturday and Sunday nights.
How Requests Are Queued
Requests are generally played in the order received. Songs with more votes may be prioritized in rotation.
Repeat Protection
If your requested song (or its artist or album) has played within the last 4 hours, it may be temporarily held back. Your request is still valid — it'll play once it's eligible again.
Request Limits
New requests are limited to 1 per hour per listener, up to 20 per day.
Fair Play
Requests are monitored to ensure a fair experience for all listeners. Activity that appears automated, excessive, or designed to bypass request limits may be excluded from rotation.
